Our next exhibition takes place from Wednesday 14th November to Saturday 17th November when painters will be exhibiting their original work in a variety of mediums.
The exhibition is being staged in place of the usual Spring exhibition at Chirk Castle which this year had to be cancelled because the venue was not available.
The Society has attracted a number of new members in recent months and visitors to the free exhibition will find something to suit all artistic tastes. There will be paintings in watercolour, acrylic, oils and mixed media.
The showcase will also be a great opportunity for visitors to buy Christmas presents for people who enjoy looking at local art in their homes.
Tea, coffee, mince pies and shortbread will also be available at the exhibition which is open from 10am to 4pm each day. There will be a raffle of a Christmas hamper as well as for a painting kindly donated to the Society by the Wirral artist, Dennis Oakes.
“We have so much local talent in the area”, said Chairman, Christine Taylor. “This exhibition will be a great chance to come along and see and buy our work”.
